BDF supports modern agricultural and breeding projects for diploma and bachelor's degree graduates (A1 and A0) to reduce unemployment. These graduates are eligible for agricultural and breeding loans from BDF to support their projects.

Nature of this loan
BDF provides agribusiness loans of up to ten million (RWF 10 000 000) payable at an interest rate of 12% per annum.
BDF provides 30% of the loan as grant when 70% of the loan is repaid on time.
The business owner is required to provide collateral for the loan he applies for
Requirements for the beneficiary to receive this loan.
The owners of the project must be Rwandan.
The business owner must have graduated from secondary school or university.
The project must demonstrate how it will provide employment opportunities for Rwandans, including university graduates. The expected number of jobs created by the project must be clearly stated.
This service is only available to authorized business entities (companies).
The project must be innovative.
Funded projects are start-ups that have been in operation for at least three years.
The project should be integrated, with a focus on increasing the production of agricultural and livestock products, as well as adding value to them.
